Today, in hilarious mishaps, I almost sent a panel from the Homestuck^2 upd8 to the mod chat. Also, there's a Homestuck^2 upd8. (Yes, this plurk has spoilers.)
Vriska's been de-parenthesised, the Vriskid version is now Vrissy, we have sprites for Harry Anderson (who is unfairly good-looking) and Tavros Crocker (who is cute and exactly what you'd expect him to look like.)
We are having a bit of a generation gap issue in which Vriska is unprepared for a schoolhive that doesn't have an inciner8er for dead 8odies, and Vrissy and Tavros are unprepared for the assumption that this high school would just have an incinerator for dead bodies.
He had a brief breakdown over dead Gamzee because, well, that was a real shock for him and UNSURPRISINGLY he has a lot of emotions about that, including a big wail and him ineffectually trying to beat the body up, and now they're trying to surreptitiously dispose of it and failing spectacularly.
ASDFLMSD YEAH.... I can say that circumstantially the arrangement is innocent, Vriska was trying to lead and therefore Tavros was just carrying the rest of Gamzee, and they were failing without Vrissy so she came in the middle
None of them know where they are going, but Vriska is leading the way, hunched and purposeful, Gamzee’s head against her shoulder, an arm around each horn like a yoke.
They heave the body upward above their heads and keep walking, invigorated with fresh direction. Emotionally, anyway. They still do not have a physical direction in mind, which doesn’t stop them from marching onward.
(Harry Anderson thought the texts from Vrissy about corpse disposal were... a prank? And was unhurried and unconcerned about it. And now. He has realised.)
I am so glad, I love that boy and I want GOOD THINGS for him, or at least like, narratively satisfying things that hopefully lead to... like, personal growth of some kind
I MEAN. ROXY IS SMART. Roxy is a better programmer than Dirk, in fact. Roxy also does not take criticism and frequently refuses to acknowledge negatives. Soooooooo........
