[Disney Day 2] Animal Kingdom is one of my favorites but oh boy has it lost points just from Pandora existing

This is definitely the most poorly themed area in like every way and the ass ended no-impact boredom of the movie is like way on display

its just "more Africa with some big rocks and plastic plants, but now we can do tribal spiritual stuff cause it's aliens"

I only remember the coolest animals from the movie and maaaybe they're on the bigger ride (the line was too long to bother rn) but they certainly aren't on the lil boat ride that's about 3 minutes of completely flat travel through generic fantasy scenery and two whole super creepy animatronics

One of the animatronics is a blank white mannequin they do projections on, I saw it without the projection once and it was hyper creepy.

The big ride has you riding on the flying creatures from the movie and you see lots of other critters. The line sometimes isn't awful right before closing, they sometimes make the wait bigger than it is.

yeah I heard its not too bad before closing, we'll probably give it a shot. The boat ride is just at best creepy and at worst boring

Good luck, I hope you're able to get in, it's definitely worth riding, it's my Mom's favorite ride.

thanks! we ended up leaving so we could make it to dinner reservations, the line was still a two-hour wait and it was about to storm so we bounced. I'm gonna park hop for shopping and photo ops Friday so maybe I'll get to it then
