I listened to a NPR podcast about the topic of the planets aligning in december of 2012

and the scientists was like 'yes, it's true it happens'

'what is also true is that it actually happens every year and we haven't exploded yet'

Honestly, if the apocalypse meant a quick boom, bang, no more existence period? there are times I'd welcome it

I like the view expressed though, that 'every year the world ends'
