[RL] [House renovations] I'm renovating the other half of my duplex, and I decided to splurge and put a new window and light fixture in my bedroom as well

since I was already paying for lights and windows, since the original owner of the duplex had all ceiling fans, no light fixtures

It's so much nicer in my room now!

I had a lamp, but at night even with the lamp it was always pretty dark, but now I can see!

Also warmer because the previous owner decided to save money by putting in sliding side to side windows in a double hung window slot, and saved further money by doing it himself so badly that a stiff breeze could make them fall out of place
