I know that feeling and my only real encouragement is that if you do get along well with this therapist, the relief afterwards is great and can help be the encouragement you'll need to make any future appointments

well that was a fucking shit show

get there and they don't have my appointment on the books to start

receptionist basically treated me like I couldn't afford to be there because I have a high deductible insurance plan

so I'm basically paying out of pocket

they scrambled to find someone to do my intake appointment and she's not even going to be my therapist so we did paperwork and that was it

oh also apparently they're cash only

which I did not know so the receptionist was like "oh that's my fault you can pay next time"

also it's v much in the ghetto and the paperwork included asking for my lawyer and my probation officer

so yeah I'll be finding somewhere else

boyfriend took me to Michael's and Half Price Books after though so that helped
