From the implications it almost seems like Overwatch 2 is going to be kinda like an expansion pack? All the skins and maps are porting over

yeah until now I always assumed that it was at least going to be some kind of side game that didn't necessarily connect with 1's mechanics so it should def be interesting to see how it plays out
