[FFXIV] I like how there's so many ways I can see my impending death coming and there's nothing I can do about it

Me, getting gaoled on Titan and the tank gets Landslide aimed at me and I get freed at the exact moment the attack executes

Me, getting seduced on Ramuh EX and no one breaks me out of it

You better hope the other healer can solo heal

(they can't, bc pugs can't do Ramuh EX because concepts like "standing in water is bad" is very hard to understand)

oh and I forgot: getting terrored on Hydra and I randomly run right into its big telegraphed obvious front slam AoE

all of these happened yesterday

nothing makes me feel more incompetent than a "find all of the items/npcs in a given area" task

It's also bc ex fights are usually done in party finder

old ones are some unsynched so you can skip all the mechanics

so the df queue usually will not pop (except for the arr ones) and will be filled with people who either are new and don't know too use pf or mentors who may or may not have done it

ex fights are considered high end content when they're current
