my dad wants me to build him a website for his business that is HONESTLY TOO SMALL TO HAVE A WEBSITE

and i tell him multiple times that kind of a job is THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS OF WORK

websites are long, complicated, and require such a high level of work, and i probably cant even make a website to the degree he needs/wants it to function

and he wont listen. he thinks i can just shit a website out

wouldnt even let me explain myself

im sure he also expects me to get all the assets for it and like sorry im not here to play PR for you, if you want smth printed out, YOU talk to the printing agency; ive told him this before. if you want photographs of your house, YOU hire a photographer

im already being paid a living wage i dont need to scrape money from family jobs that are just looking to fudge a bad portfolio piece on me. i already have two GREAT portfolio websites

so after all this frustration i tell him to stop harassing me and go away (im at work right now)

and he starts harrassing my cat "YOUR MOTHER" im not the cats fucking mother im her fucking dad

i was trying to bond with him on the new batwoman show and asked if the girl on the screen was batwoman and he said to me "thats kate kane"

i have no idea who kate kane is guys. i really dont fucking know. so when he tells me thats kate kane i am obviously going to think "oh i guess thats not batwoman" so here i am trying to figure out who kate kane is

literally a painful 5 minute conversation that ended with me yelling at my dad because im trying to RELATE to the fucking things hes interested in so i can have conversations with him and instead he tries to play me out as a fool

he makes every conversation awful and frustrating these days even when im trying to level with him but he wont listen to me at all

MEAN WHILE ive been reminded nine thousand times that batwoman is gay. yay i dont care that much. sooo many characters can be gay and then get straight up shat on. hi voltron, hi shiro!

and it kinda bugs me that he tries to level with me on LGBT issues when
1) im nt involved in most LGBT issues because i dont like being defined by that
2) he cant even be fucking bothered to teach himself to get my pronouns right 90% of the fucking time anyway
