In other news, I just got a job. Ok, a temporary one, but still some money will come in instead of just going out! (I will be working at the upcoming elections.)

The soup is done. Pretty good; I may have put in a little too much pepper (if that's possible?) Only thing, I used all the pumpkin, so I'll have to buy more if I want a pie!

What do you like in your soup recipes?

Heh. I mostly do my soups without recipes. I know some basic tricks, then I improvise. So I cooked some onions first, then added some stock (I only had some packaged pork stock for ramen; I need to cook my frozen chicken soon!), the pumpkin, then spices. Once done, I put it through the mixer, and got a nice heavy soup without the need for potatoes.

Come to think of it, the hot feeling might come from the stock; if it was seasoned with hot peppers, it would explain it. Still is good!

Sounds lovely and similar to what I do. I love to add a little cream!

Yeah, I don't have cream right now. I thought of adding evaporated milk, then decided against it. I may get some cream for next time.
