I've just unfriended two old classmates on Facebook. They are animal lovers just as much as I am, but they keep on posting those horrible vids of animal abusers - ya know the ones with captions like : 'find these guys who cut this dogs ears off etc...' . Yes I want those ppl to be found and punished but gawd, those graphic vids...I can't.

I have friends that have this same habit, and they get angry if you tell them that not everyone can stand those videos and that everyone has different sensibility to that...

Agreed! I just saw a program talking about climate change and the animals losing their habitats. Anyway, they were saying that there’s a trend starting of showing more positive animal images when begging for donations. Instead of using the abused animals pictures. I’m like all for that.

They said it’s because a portion of the population tunes those images out (like you’re just saying). They want to recapture that population.
