I fucking work all day. When I get home from work I dont want to be bombarded with a hundred trips down guilt lane.

If you want to go out to dinner thats fine. But maybe you can plan it in advanced first???

Instead of springing it on me right when I literally walk in the front door.

This happens all the time and it's just so frustrating

Im tired and exhausted after being treated like crap by customers all day. I dont want to go out and eat. I want to sit and relax so I can re-engergize and do the same exact thing tomorrow.

But if I say that I get treated like the worlds worst child in the history of the world because apparently its insane to want to relax after work.

Sometimes it helps to rephrase. “Oh thats awesome but I’m pooped, you guys go enjoy!” Since yeah you gotta recharge

I wish something like that would work. They've already told me they think my job isnt that hard to deal with so I shouldnt complain before.
