[negative][murdergames][nothing recent] I've made this a Problem enough times I think that I'm gonna put various cards on the table

you've probably noticed at least once that a plurk I made turns to talking about murdergames and I become a weird asshole for some reason

to sum up: I hate murdergames and even reading about them gives me actual anxiety

The first time I tried to app at a modern murdergame I was pre-banned for unspecified behavior problems brought to the mods' attention by an unspecified player

The second time I even talked about trying to get into murdergames, I got overwhelmed by 400 comments of swapping stories I had no way to engage with and ended up getting shouted down for being passive aggressive when I tried to cut it short (this was before you could mute your own plurks)

so after that point I just kind of gave up completely on ever touching that shit

I have every major murdergame's name on plurk's keyword blacklist

Every time it comes up I either have absolutely nothing I can add to the conversation or am terrified of being an asshole again when I open my mouth to talk about how I have absolutely nothing I can add to the conversation

So whenever a conversation on one of my plurks turns to murdergames, that conversation is effectively over for me

so I guess like

1. That's why

2. I Do Not Want To Talk About Things That Happened In Murdergames

3. I'm sorry for getting weird about it, repeatedly

including by making this plurk at all

talk all you want, at length and with great enthusiasm, about the murdergames you loved and had incredible memories in, on your own plurks, I automatically won't see it because plurk has great features of convenience

but I want no part in it

Anyway it's not like you should be forced to talk about things you don't want to, or apologize for not wanting to talk about a particular subject

I was actually slightly confused in your most recent this-relevant plurk because I thought you brought them up, but I think that might have been a block confusing me.

i do not even know what a murdergame is (and given the context of this plurk, please no one explain it) but asking people to end a 400-comment-long (essentially) tangent that is happening on your plurk hardly seems unreasonable to me

my only real positive murdergame thought is the concept of a couples umineko murdergame run by zepar and furfur where only the winning ship gets to be canon
