Also, today is the 4th anniversary of my 1st acceptance letter. And it seems the universe has a present for me: ie. the Lovecraftiana issue going into print today.

And the writing news continues: Just got the contract for the "zombie chickens" story... Good work for a tale inspired by a one-off joke that my mother made!

I cannot for life of me remember why she came up with the phrase "zombie chickens", but it tickled me so hard, I had to write the story it conjured.
