had a bluetit come and explore the frame of the open window though - probably looking for insects. They were mostly hopping around in the adjacent tree.

it’s a little cooler in my bedroom than the rest of the floor. When I opened the door, I could feel the heat flowing in.

previously had such a screen for a window as a child but not in the past couple of homes. The air pollution is also a big problem and a screen wouldn't help with that at all.
