[running] 10 decent miles at the lake today, not bad for a hot sunny day, but the real accomplishment was finding a flavor of Gu energy gels that doesn't immediately trigger my gag reflex

Turns out I just needed the kind that tastes exactly like chocolate fudge frosting!

And it's exactly like it, not that fake "chocolatey flavor" that you can get for medicine etc

This will be really helpful since the sports beans and gel blocks are nice but take a bit to chew and stick to my teeth like crazy

And this stuff does hit my system really fast
