This movie can summarized like this: Spidey: I'll never live up to Tony's legacy Also Spidey: professionally fights supervillains created by Tony's legacy of being an inconsiderate asshole
Feige: So Mysterio says he's from a multiverse and he's from another reality Sony: Oh so there's alternate realities where other major characters exist in their own reality like maybe the ones we already are making movies for Feige: Riiiiiight, but he's also lying so there isn't a multiverse ever. Sorry. Bye.
That was a great twist for the ending there. BECAUSE they have Peter acting like he's about to have his "I Am Iron Man" moment and was like wow "Okay this is bold" but it was just him confronting Happy and May
I think if I had any criticism on this movie, it was EDITH. Because it's like... so poorly planned out. It's more dangerous than Ultron, the safeguards behind Peter transferring ownership was paper thin (why would you let that be a thing Tony!) and like... where the fuck were these drones at the end of Endgame?
My explanation is that he start working on it just after the Snap, but gave up after he and Pepper decided to move away so it was only half completed and wasn't really meant to be given to Peter until it was done.
