the really weird Amnesia Yotsuyu subplot have me an idea for a weird villain hook

where they have something extremely evil they want to achieve as part of some plan to change the world according to their ideals

but they also don't want to have to face the horror of what they did

so rather than just doing it and accepting their monstrosity

their plan is to do the thing and then erase their own memories of it

so that they can never truly be made to face what they did

anyway I've been babysitting Tsuyu for like a week and I don't care for it

liked Heavensward a LOT more than Stormblood

It concludes strong, although I’m there with liking HW more. Hopefully a more focused plot in ShB brings good things

i have friends who think doma and not!japan were their excuse to make the steppes happen to the detriment of ala mhigo, but they did a lot of things outside their comfort zone with SB; they didn't always stick the landing, but I appreciated that they really tried to sell a lot of things. (plus, ivalice was a win for me.)

anyway I'm plotblocked for a good while now because I need to raise my ilvl by 20 to fight tsukiyomi

I do but not enough to buy anything

I've got like 300ish, the cheapest genesis gear is 375

most realistically I'll probably just keep doing roulettes until it gets me to 330

although it's also the most likely to go pear-shaped

not that I've seen

honestly the main things I'm interested in FF14 in descending order are like

- Big Complex Co-op Fights

- The main story

- Mahjong

- Everything else
