You can often get a bank check from your bank (if you've got an account) that's generally treated the same by places for payment! But maybe just paying your mom back will be easier >>

Like just ask the teller for 'a bank check' so even if you don't have a check book, you can 'write' checks. It'll be free depending on the credit union/bank, but they might charge...

but that's wild that they don't accept cash or card....

Its just easier for me to get my mom to write a check out since, while not far, its still a 15-20 minute drive out to my closest credit union. e_e
