A few years ago it was really bad, like five calls a day bad. we had this one guy leave four different messages for walmart trying to find a book he left in a cart. This guy listened to our obnoxiously long voice message listing our weekly hours and two different

alternative numbers FOUR TIMES and STILL didn't figure out that he wasn't calling Walmart

then I actually got him on the phone at one point and the fucker wanted me to walk to customer service to find his fucking book snort

I am so happy that our management has changed so drastically because we are finally functioning like A BANK. our manager, though he has the attention span of a gnat and sucks at actual work takes care of shit when we're being abused by customers. He flat out stops them and tells them we'll shut their accounts down if they don't stop that behavior

the last couple managers we had would just let us be verbally beaten up and kiss the customer's ass even though they've been standing at the front of the branch for twenty minutes dropping the f-bomb every other word
