I finished my cross stitch project and now I'm mad because all the frames are too expensive and the wrong size

frames are weirdly expensive it's true

I might just make my own.

I know how and I can get the materials for all four for less than the cost of one frame

then you can make them exactly how you want, too

how important to you is the border edge look of a frame?

like, do you specifically want the look of something around them, or do you just want to be able to hang them on the wall?

I would like something around them

It should be grey, silver, or ideally black

though I have plenty of paint

if I just wanted to chuck them on the wall, it wouldn't be a problem

ah. cause i do floating backings a lot. but i like the look of the piece on the wall with nothing around it. though, i guess you could do a floating backing, then attach it to a piece of spraypainted particle board larger than the piece, then hang that on the wall. that might look nice. and would cost you like five bucks for all of them.

I'll think about it. It's always good to have options
