Also the comp hard drive is almost certainly fucked. It finished the disk read and deleted a couple of corrupted files, which means the comp loads better than it did, but it won't load the internet, any browser, no matter what I try

I may have to bite the bullet and just get a new comp. At least I get discounts through work

And my parents saved a lot of their boxes from when they moved last year and gave them to me, that's where the HD boxes come from
