/ [-ish] So I just re-read Stormwatch 30 for the first time in like.... 7 years?

Or whenever that thing actually came out

because I was trying to figure out where the hell M left off with his canon for a tag

and I'm genuinely angry at how good that fucking issue was

it had decent but not amazing art (which is fine for a c-list title like that) that showed off emotions and didn't look like bad cave paintings

the writing didn't sound like someone threw a dictionary into a blender and wrote out whatever whole words they could find

characters actually seemed to enjoy each other's company

and it set up an arc that's happening after the comic ends that I really would rather have read instead of the entire bullshit of Stormwatch we got

it made me give a shit about Emma for once, which was more than the actual title could do

it did something interesting with Adam One/Merlin for once

god I am angry

this is cute
