Huh? Canker sores? In the mouth? That's treated as a normal child thing here though. A home remedy is putting some powdered alum (otherwise used as an underarm antiperspirant) on the sore to dry it.
It hurts like hell though, especially when putting the powdered alum.

: That's kinda scary. When you think it's just a canker sore and it's okay to just go on and kiss whoever you like, when you're actually spreading a disease that can at the very least cause a lot of inconvenience...
Not to mention people eventually... Okay, I'm gonna stop here before I expose the limits of my medical knowledge.
That's scary! I was just thinking about how funny it'd be sharing over a few beers about how you got your (genital) herpes through a blowjob, but that just ... IDK.
yeeeeeah. I mean. It's really common and shouldn't be a big deal (didn't used to be, until there was good viral suppressant and then the company ran a smear campaign but that's a whole other issue) but common doesn't mean harmless.
It's still a big deal here, any sexually transmitted disease actually. But that's the thing, I don't think people here makes the connection between genital herpes and oral herpes--or even know that oral herpes is a thing (I know, but I'm far from a typical person from this part of the world).

I've always thought those two (herpes simplex and canker sores) are one and the same. Huh, TIL.
I hope it gets well soon tho.

And actually, assuming that it's herpes II would be safer than assuming it's a canker sore, in many ways. But then again, knowing is far better.

That's what makes it dangerous, imho.
