Dororo: canonically born a girl but lives and refers to himself as a boy, even when he was living with his parents, uses a male-coded personal pronoun that's different from the one the men he grew up around used (thus implying he chose it instead of mimicking people around him), and actively tries to hide that he was born a girl

like...knowing how the original manga handled Dororo's gender, they could very well pull some kinda bullshit and say no, he really is a girl, but come on, people

the one thing that we do absolutely know for sure is that Dororo refers to himself and prefers to be referred to as male.
