It's an excuse to try and shoot down some of them if nothing else, since while I cleared 4, 5 and Zero I never got around the first and second games

You're not missing too much if you skip Air Combat and Ace Combat 2, based on what I know

They're fine? But they're not terribly relevant to the modern games, especially because Cross Rumble/Assault Horizon Legacy effectively is Ace Combat 2 remade into modern standards, and 1 is currently in a state of dubious canon anyway

So if you want the Ace Combat 2 that's most relevant to canon, that's Cross Rumble/AHL

I'd probably go with the originals anyway since I have this love for seeing the progression of a series, remakes aside

So I'd likely be going for Air Combat, then AC2 and AC3, then the remaining AC games on PS2

I'd also say don't worry too much if you can't get Electrosphere

But if you can, go for it

I've actually not played it myself and I'm not... terribly interested in it because I know some of the spoilery stuff in the game already
