[Job search blues] Man, I get annoyed when jobs list "ability to work a flexible schedule" as a must have

Like yeah I get the need for it, including for restaurants

But god damn it, I want a static schedule

I'm tired of having to bend over backwards and make my entire life about my current job

Especially if all I'm asking for is a few nights off a week

Doesn't have to be all of them

And yet some places are petty enough to enforce that like wow dude, I have a life

It's not grand by any means, but I have one

Maybe if the job is worth that treatment, then I'll think about it, but most times, it isn't
