I've been watching The Act and it's so disturbing. I never condone violence, but seeing what this poor woman went through, it's no wonder she felt that murdering her mother was the only way out.

I remember the story. It pisses me off that she was prosecuted and didn't get some diminished capacity or other option that more accurately addressed reality
