So I'm contemplating trying a new slow-cooker dish - Chicken and Sweet Potato Stew. But I'm trying to figure out what I could serve with this.
Bookworm
It's chicken, sweet potatoes, Yukon Gold potatoes, carrots, and stewed tomatoes, with salt, pepper, cinnamon, nutmeg, paprika, and celery seed. Cooked in 1 cup of low-sodium chicken broth.

Do you think something like this could be served over rice? Or with egg noodles?
Searra
I'd go with the noodles, but I would eat pasta every day. Either one should be good.

My sister is a fan of cauliflower rice, the flavor is mild enough that it might work too.
Kghia
I vote rice

It already has meat, starch, veggies. Serve with nice bread to soak up the broth/sauce. Or cheese. You don't need anything else.

I’d do corn bread
Bookworm
Oooo. I haven't had corn bread muffins in ages!

And I do have fruit - apples and grapes. Or I could buy some packaged salad.

I'm with Prof. It sounds like something to be served in a bowl with cornbread or another favorite type of bread. Bonus points if it's whole grain and served with honey or maple butter.
