for Fraser, I'll assume! 11: as a kid, I think probably when his mother died not because he was in danger or anything, but he was only six and he had no idea what had happened (he still doesn't know all the details, oops) or what was going to happen next and his father was a mess and then he ended up being handed off to his grandparents
as an adult, I think the moment he realized that not only had Victoria set him up, but that things he'd thought were sweet little gestures (like, she saw he was broke and slipped him some extra cash, that's embarrassing but thoughtful) were actually calculated ways of incriminating him (oh wait it was stolen cash with consecutive serial numbers)
12 -- hmm man idk he's a pretty calm dude in general. deeply fucked up, but calm. I'm trying to think of especially peaceful moments and if he's had any of those, they're mostly with Dief, who is Best Dog(/Wolf).
he does have favorite books, obviously. he was a very running-jumping-climbing-trees kid the rest of the time so he did also get, like, sporting equipment and bikes and sleds and whatnot, the best of which was the hockey gear
23: He just truly cannot stand rudeness. And I don't mean, like, cursing, or boorish behavior, because he may not love that and he won't do it himself but he quite likes some people who swear like sailors and act like snarky idiots (hi Rays) -- what gets to him is when people disregard others or think other people are beneath them
You can get away with all the dumb shit in the world with him if you have a good heart and treat people well; if you think you're above it all and no one else is worth the time of day, he'll get right up in your face and stay there. politely.
annnnnnnd 45. Well, now he worries he'll end up like his father and live in some weird ghost plane and pop up every now and then to haunt, like... Dief? or maybe Ray? he's not thrilled by the idea.
20 got me thinking about how he tends to operate in extremes and like-- he doesn't really compare himself to others, because everything sort of either falls into Fraser Talent or Weird Fraser Thing
either he's ridiculously good at stuff and doesn't need to compare because he's already secure about it or he's doing something no one else does and he can accept that he's just a freak that way
because that's the only time that A: someone's subjective opinion of him actually matters and B: he can't control it sufficiently just by being himself
