Waiting at the hospital with Yak. Now they tell us that he might not have to come back tomorrow. But I won’t know until after they do the procedure.

So I get to wait at the hospital while he’s getting operated. Just the thing I wanted to avoid. LOL

Now I’m a bit bummed I was looking forward to staying at the hotel tonight and having dinner in the nice restaurant.

so wait.... go to the spa! they will be busy with him for a while! and then you can still remain at the hotel.. just have a nice quiet xmas eve and dinner... and then sleep in and have nice breakfast and THEN go home and be lazy for the rest of the holiday if he doesn't have to come back on xmas day!

btw, mr. H is off to our GP, he had contact with the transplant nurse today, and it does sound like he has a strep infection... before deciding whether they want him to come in, they wanted him be seen by the gp first. Poor man is coughing his lungs out. fever remains in check.. but blergh...

Fatigue was the big one. But one of them made him poop a lot and loose.

He’s had so many side effects it’s not funny. I kinda shoved it all out of my head. LOL

Yup it is a bitch but without it where would we be.... fatigue is no big deal. LOL

there is not really an alternative. Been looking up some of the other immunosuppressants, that's all serious shit ... AE: rejection of the liver ... uhm... isn't that why you are supposed to take it to begin with, to avoid rejection?
