looks up tutorials
ᴇɴᴛᴇɪₒ
for how to make things printable
ᴇɴᴛᴇɪₒ
good news: 8.5 x 11 at 300dpi is very similar to the scale i usually draw at
ᴇɴᴛᴇɪₒ
bad news: i'm gonna have to do some... hunting.... on how to make that dabi pic printable since it's a square
ᴇɴᴛᴇɪₒ
do i just get it printed normally and cut off the excess if i make prints of it??? who knows
ᴇɴᴛᴇɪₒ
fuck if i do
Moulin_Hearts
There are places that can do square prints, or you print on a large sheet and trim down
Moulin_Hearts
What programs do you use and have available? Who do you plan to go print through?
ᴇɴᴛᴇɪₒ
for this, it's a friend of the family and i'm making this one the right size for her to just take the file to the nearby office depot
ᴇɴᴛᴇɪₒ
but i haven't done prints before
CricketMomJenn
I mean there's a ton of people who do prints so I would say make a plurk that you would want to replurk?
CricketMomJenn
I can also just ask my timeline
ᴇɴᴛᴇɪₒ
I MEAN... when I'm ready to make actual prints (I'm not tabling yet) I'll look into it for sure
ᴇɴᴛᴇɪₒ
I'm just mostly concerned about my square pic but that's on me
Moulin_Hearts
You can make it square and set it on an 11x17 or whatever and Office Depot will have cutters to cut it down
Moulin_Hearts
No one actually prints on square paper. Anyone would have to cut it down
Moulin_Hearts
Speaking as a graphic designer here
ᴇɴᴛᴇɪₒ
i'll keep that in mind
CricketMomJenn
Yeah that makes sense.
Moulin_Hearts
Now they do make square papers you can buy and probably run through a home printer but you would need to set custom paper specs for the printer
Moulin_Hearts
But most might be two big since they’re usually 12x12
Moulin_Hearts
*too
ᴇɴᴛᴇɪₒ
Yeah plus our printer has crapped out

Having worked in copy and print at Staples, I can verify a square picture will have to be cut for size
ᴇɴᴛᴇɪₒ
my other option will be to edit it and expand it into a landscape pic
ᴇɴᴛᴇɪₒ
make More Fire
鋼の錬金術師
You could do that

If you have it printed somewhere like Staples or Office Depot, I would recommend cutting it yourself with the tools they let customers use or use your own because you will be charged per cut
ᴇɴᴛᴇɪₒ
It would take pretty minimal work to add the edge of his coat and/or hair
ᴇɴᴛᴇɪₒ
And the fire is shockingly easy so
ᴇɴᴛᴇɪₒ
I might just...turn this into a landscape print size

If it doesn't take too much time or effort, it might be a good idea
