My coworker got a Model 3 recently: nice car!

This was a 7 seater SUV type of thingy. Power gull wing type doors.

I think so. The Model 3 my coworker bought is nearly $CAN80K, way, way, way more than I could ever think about spending on a vehicle.

It had a touch screen panel instead of a dashboard. Temp controls, doors, windows, sat nav - all the things.
Was bigger than the TV in my hotel room.

Yeah, that’s one thing I dislike about them. My current car has a touch screen for a bunch of functions (not nearly as big as in Teslas) and I find that it’s a terrible interface for a vehicle.

Not very stylish either.
The huge panel looks kinda crappy against all the nice trim elsewhere.

Comfy, quiet, ride though.

In the Model S the panel is in portrait orientation and I don’t like the look of it. In the Model 3 it’s in landscape and it does look much better that way, but it would take some getting used to. One think that I do like about it is how it shows all of the nearby cars’ positions in relation to the one you’re in.

This was portrait, yus. The image fur the nearby cars was above the steering wheel, where the conventional instruments go.

Uber driving must be quite lucrative! 😆

I looked at it a few years ago - but my van was too old and, in those days, I couldn't work either Orlando airport or (cruise) Port Canaveral.
I could now - but van is too old.
