Touching hands, playing with her hair, resting his forehead against hers, or leaning against her. He wasn't flirting when he said he finds her presence soothing, he very much does, and more so when he can touch her.
Are they more sensual or sexual? Both really. Some of it is his age, some of it is his background - slavery and then Jedi, there's been a lot lacking in his life, a lot that has been the bare minimum and making do, and with Padmè he's free from all of that. He's free, in all ways, and it's a giddy excitement to indulge in all things he never could.
9) What is their favorite outside of the bedroom activity to do with their partner? It's completely sappy but he loves to listen to her talk. It can be able Naboo (he just assumes when he lives the Jedi that is were he will go, so hearing about it, the history, the culture, mythology, religion, etc, is great, as is hearing her talk about her family, her
clan, all the people she knows), her political aspirations and the changes she wants to make (they make him fall in more in love with her), or anything really. Padmè herself shows through so much, when she talks, her love for others, her compassion, her strength.
22) Are they protective of their partner? Extremely so, and to an unnecessary degree. In rare quiet moments, even Anakin can admit this to himself. But he knows, on a level she doesn't, how cruel the universe can be to women - and she's so small and beautiful and that's not a good thing and there's so much to be afraid of.
But other times he can't admit he's not being reasonable, and it's based in his insecurity. He's just a poorly educated ex-slave boy who has done and will have the capacity for violent and horrible things. Why would she want to be with him, when she deserves so much better?
