I've seen plans on the internet somewhere that can turn a cabinet, freestanding or built in, into a private place for kitteh business. Some cats would be okay with that, some not so much.

The door arrangement is interesting, though a curtain would be safer for little tails.

A cabinet might work if it had really good ventilation and all users were cool with each others’ presence.
