Yeah. This is one of those orc things where they occasionally get really angry, black out, and murder everything that gets in range. Really experienced warriors can use it on purpose. Kettara is very young and never actually fallen into it before. So....this'll be fun.
heh. in one of these i typoed Cull the Herd as Call the herd before I caught it. And that would be a much different game. Standing on the edge of cliffs doing the Ooooo-eeeee! pig noise to call all your livestock back.
should i tag into the veteran's center prompt with Oscar or is that not the memory you meant? (i can do a closed starter for you too, if it isn't the memory you were talking about!)
LMAO i wouldn't have minded since he's seen pretty bad stuff in Hadriel but it would have been a stunning contrast between his memory of cute mechanical dogs and Pratt's murdery one.
Well pratt's got a lot of issues. He absolutely thinks he's a traitor. But.. the person he "betrayed" is the guy who tortured and abused him and the 'betrayal' is him helping another deputy escape.
so everything in Hadriel is him trying to atone for his sins. But he both wants to be a better person because fuck Jacob. And then also wants to make Jacob proud. And shockingly those two things can't exist at the same time.
Exactly. Kettara's firmly convinced that every situation has an honorable response even though she knows that trauma really fucks up perspective. It's a lot more nuanced than she wants it to be.
not really they kill and eat people
