Going to watch the Shining for the first time. (I've read the book, but never saw the movie) It's pretty long (about two and a half hours), but I should be able to finish it before I have to go to work.

I watched the theatrical trailer first, and even the music in that was unnerving, even though most of it is just a static image of the hotel lobby.

Also, I feel like I'll be comparing this to the Simpsons most of the time. ("That's odd - the blood usually gets off at the second floor")
