: I do. But it doesn't feel like it. Both my parent's always working overtime. My little sister's working at night and asleep during daytime. During weekends, she usually stay at her boyfriend's house so.
Hm~ That's why I prefer leaving it tuned on a news channel, BBC or Al Jazeera or DW-TV or something like that. But since they get too repetitive (same news every hour or so), I tend to change channels every once in a while.

: aww ok. i thought you were living in some dorm. it's weird that both your folks work nights though. you could throw a party pala if you wanted haha

: No it's not like that. They work the whole day until yes... Until around this time. It's uhm family business. I usually just call them around midnight just to ask if they're coming home or not sigh

: ah ... i get it, is it a new or an old business? sounds like a resto if they close that late. am i close? sorry for prying just got curious

: Oh no. You're too far. Lol Idk we had it for like about 10years? It's an auto-repair shop. My dad manages that. My mom's handling something else though
oh, just coming home drunk ... it was just 2 incidents. they didn't even know about the first one, the 2nd one i tested my limits and fell asleep on the couch, that was obvious. but i don't even drink anymore, i used to like hard drinks.

: The first rebellious thing I did is when I went home at 7am without texting/calling them where I am and what time I'll be home because I got lowbatt and I just didn't bother enough to borrow a phone to one of my friends jut to inform them. And I'm uhm... 15 years old at that time and is 6-7hours away from home lol
it's a learning process for both sides, specially for me being an eldest child although i've always told them i was going out. but sometimes i edited out exactly where we ended up
I felt so fucking guilty right after that because when I got home, I'm expecting to get told off but they didn't. Not even once. The first thing they told me is... well they ask me if I have eaten breakfast and I told them I haven't and they let me ate and sent me to my room without another word

: Ah no. We have a lot of downtimes too. Just like any other family. But yeah, we talk out our problems and don't let it sit around. It won't solve itself if we just let it be.
I am nothing but a coward piece of marshmallowSo long as there's ambient noise.
