except for that moment the show has been pretty decent but

all three of their encounters to date have involved some kind of power play on his part, so there is not the REMOTEST chance that the fact that he is reasonably quiet-spoken could be interpreted by "beta at best," if I conceded that women generally rank men like that among themselves.

God I gave up on that show so fast because they were so insistent on telling us what a boy scout Jack is and then like, doing zero, to show it. but YEAH BOY GIRLS SURE DO TALK LIKE THAT /dead eyes into the distance
