The problem now is I love my new console and I've bought an icon and I need to figure out in the next 29 days whether I'm buying the one year or two year warranty.

Two year's technically cheaper in the long run, but chances are if the system survives the first year it's unstoppable.

On the other hand, the only console I've ever had permanently die on me was a PSP so I'm wary of Sony in general.
... My PS2 still works fine though...
