this video about MGS4 is EXTREMELY good and pretty much word for word what I would say about it, with the exception of his take on the transition from the TV segment of the game to the main game, which I think DOES mean MGS4 is just another TV show, and that that's a good thing

also him complaining about how it turns it into a 'man who wants to be a cat falling in love with a man who wants to be a snake'. which is also a good thing

MGS4 is a story about how you can be so monumentally gay that you can break neoliberalism

I have work to do rather than check 'em out but this video suggests he's coming at the series from a similar place to me, and I am right about everything

I think i made peace with MGS4 by finding ICly explanations for non satisfactory events, for example the thing about the inexistence of an anchor to the real world, it makes sense that Snake it's so disconnected to the world right now that he doesn't even know how things function for normal people now, he just knows capitalism and war are bad
