i'm getting REALLY tired of how much they fucked up windows updates earlier this year. blue screens galore, and now it's fucked up my blender install.

Ugh I feel I’ll need to upgrade soon (I’m still on Win 7 don’t judge me) but I keep seeing people having issues like this and I’m scared.

you can also tell windows 10 to not touch drivers.

Usually I bitch about stuff like that, but updating to 8 and 10 was a nightmare at my old job

word. I had to install the newest update because the last one fucked up my wacom tablet, 4+ hours last night waiting for that to install. And now i have to go fix stuff in the registry AGAIN to make substance painter run.

Clara 🦄 : that ain't the problem. it's straight up windows 10 updates screwing up EVERYTHING because they don't work. which i have also had to disable, but have still fucked shit up.

Uncle Flofituli : Tillor Swift : i WISH i was still on 7, really. one computer is still on 7 of three- sadly it's the one that can't do much, but IT works fine. not so much the other two. i was "ok" with win 10 (minor issues, but fixable/workaround-able) until the beginning of this year- then they did the Spectre fix, and it's been shit ever since.

I am hanging onto 7 as long as I can.

My lappy is running 10, but haven't used it in a while. So is Momma's computer which gives me Great Fear.
