If anyone’s curious, until the new tablet arrives, this is my current set up. I use Adrian’s iPad Pro with Apple Pencil and an app called Duet Display. It lets me use the pressure sensitivity of the pencil with the iPad as a second monitor. It performs pretty well with photoshop and clip studio paint...

Had some problems with Krita and while it does accept the pressure sensitivity in Zbrush it doesn’t seem to love playing well with it. Also, the smaller screen tends to cause a lot of problems in something like zbrush.

Everything should work a lot smoother and less painful with the new Huion tablet but I'll report back when it arrives. This is just mainly for anyone else interested in cheaper alternatives to a cintiq.

: Thank you! I like it too, it makes me happy to sit at.

I tried out Duet Display on my PC recently just to use it as a another monitor, but it was making the drop down text in Maya really insanely tiny on my main monitor when it was hooked up. Do you have that issue?

Kota

no I haven’t had that issue. That’s really strange!

: I wonder if it's because of my regular monitor being 4K, and it somehow messes with the magnification settings. It's just drop down menus though!

possibly, that is really annoying though. I would maybe contact their support. That seems like something fixable.

Yeah. I should. It was just on my last project that I tried it, and I didn't have time to worry about it at the time, and then I forgot about it til you mentioned it.
