[misc.] internal screaming

Dad just asked if I'd go to D.C. with the family in June, and while that'd normally be a fun trip (MUSEUMS AND SHIT), I know how my dad is with politics (particularly how little he cares for my opinions/side of the spectrum), and he plans to take us to the White House.

That, and considering what a depressing and uncomfy experience the last family vacation was...

Eeeeeegh.

But I feel so bad wanting to decline, especially since I anticipate at least some arguing to follow me breaking the news (never pleasant)...
