[AB Game] One last hurrah! Triple game scope, 10,000 runs, this time tracking kills.
Quinneapolis
A kill is counted if you are a member of a team that picks BETRAY and causes someone on the other team to die.
Quinneapolis
Here's the final list!
Quinneapolis
Echo: 72 wins, 1460 deaths, 40 kills
Quinneapolis
Only capable of killing someone if she's paired with a faster, meaner partner at the right time.
Quinneapolis
Lenga: 2662 wins, 22 deaths, 138 kills
Quinneapolis
Tries to avoid killing, but is also willing to Betray killers.
Quinneapolis
Gray: 91 wins, 141 deaths, 237 kills
Quinneapolis
Very defensive so wins rarely, but also pretty hard to kill.
Quinneapolis
Foxfire: 403 wins, 221 deaths, 276 kills
Quinneapolis
Is meaner when fighting fewer people, so kill count is low.
Quinneapolis
Prof: 1196 wins, 307 deaths, 400 kills
Quinneapolis
As expected, right in the middle.
Quinneapolis
Emily: 1099 wins, 21 deaths, 469 kills
Quinneapolis
Emily was surprisingly hard to kill with how chaotic her strategy was
Quinneapolis
Peter: 1625 wins, 3 deaths, 538 kills
Quinneapolis
I think we all know who's going to be at the top of this list
Quinneapolis
Leriel: 1259 wins, 2 deaths, 559 kills
Quinneapolis
Leriel came damn close though, in a longer game the Grim Trigger is going to do a LOT of betraying
Quinneapolis
Kasu: 3135 wins, 0 deaths, 565 kills
✶ 天才的なIDOL様!
holy fuck, kasu
Quinneapolis
Kasu's strategy was Always Betray
Quinneapolis
In the VLR LP thread, if memory serves, they were able to find exactly one strategy that would beat it
Quinneapolis
Called the Monokuma Strategy
Princess Emily
I'm gonna say. The game probably isn't the best design when picking betray every single time is the hands down best option
Quinneapolis
which went something like
Quinneapolis
- Betray if your opponent has killed someone
Quinneapolis
- Betray if you can kill your opponent
Quinneapolis
- Betray if you can reach 9 points this round
Quinneapolis
- Otherwise Ally
Quinneapolis
Princess Emily In an actual execution there's a lot more player psychology to it, but Always Betray wins because bots can't recognize an Asshole Player
Quinneapolis
Kasubot would be deadass fucked by round 3 of a game against humans
Princess Emily
How? Is there a way for a betray to lose points?
Princess Emily
I don't recall there being one.
Quinneapolis
you don't have to lose points to lose the game, since the game ends when someone reaches the target points
Quinneapolis
once people notice you're betraying every time, they'll always betray against you, and you'll never advance
Quinneapolis
and someone else will escape first
kamikasei
If you Ally and your opponent Betrays, your team gains 3 points and your opposing team loses 2 points.
kamikasei
Is this backwards?
Quinneapolis
Yes.
Echo
I can't believe mine was the only one that wound up below triple digits...
Echo
Like I knew there'd be a kill count gap, but jeez.
Quinneapolis
also the only person to die over 1000 times
Wild Child
I'd be kind of interested in seeing an "evolution tournament" of these strategies similar to this game about the original Prisoner's Dilemma
Wild Child
Although I guess it'd work kind of differently
