So, there's a couple of stores I've shopped at that auto-added me to in-world notices. I don't see an opt out link in the message. I can see a SLURL for the sender object but can't TP to it. Does anyone know how to get off the list?

I hoped there was an easier way. Why these things don't have an opt out is beyond me.

I have had to do that many times. one creator actually messaged me back saying "it's for vip gifts. it's free." i was like, regardless, I didn't sign up for it."

i hate when people auto-sign people up like that

It's a minor annoyance, but they do pile up, I'm not premium so I cap easily, and it's extremely unethical to not offer an opt out (in fact, if this were RL businesses, they'd be breaking the law in my country with a fine of $1million)

I think I'll make a generic polite please unsubscribe notecard to send.

I wound up having to send someone a notecard a few years ago for this exact thing, and they IMed me back with an attitude so I wound up blocking them instead. It does seem very unethical, I agree.
