I think that, what's irritating me the most about TLJ isn't anything in the movie at all.

It's all the smug people going "Well, gee, everyone said TFA was too much like ANH, and now this one is different ~make up your minds~"

Or "Anyone who doesn't like this is just a sobby white fanboy who didn't get pandered to, so of course they hate it."

I got it! I realized why I hate that so much more than the usual "You're just a picky nerd who needs to shut up and be happy with what he's getting" attitude.

Rogue One wasn't a traditional Star Wars movie either, but it was still probably the best Star Wars movie we've seen released.
