That dentist saga was a fiasco. Book it early, so I can go back to bed... get filling replaced. Go to get payslip, back 10 minutes later because the filling fell out.

Longer story... in October I had three fillings. Two were fine, one was a bit uncomfortable, but eh.

So I make an appointment and they say the nearest one is in 2 weeks.

Our work dinner's postponed a week because of snow, putting it on the day of my appointment (monday).

No big deal, it's at 4. I can still do the meal at 6.

I get a call Monday telling me the appointment has needed to be cancelled, can I make 9:15 or 1? No, because I'm at work. I booked the 4 o'clock one around my shift.

I ask if there's any available later in the week and yes, Thursday, 9:20.

Fab, I'm off and I can go back to bed afterwards.

So I go, she tells me that it's actually broken, pulls the bits out, does the filling...

I say thanks, zip off without needing to pay because it's under guarantee, go to grab my payslip from work, chat with Paul ...

So I go back over, trll the receptionist... "I was just in, but the filling I had done has come out on the way home."

She goes "Erk, how's half ten?"

So I wait until 5 to 11... and my poor confused dentist is like deja vu ... so she tries another material. 8l

So I had two fillings in one tooth in one day because fuck my luck, apparently.

They had to use a different filling stuff, the regular one (the silver one, amalgam) wasn't working, so they had to break out the white, light-cured one.
