I like that there are usually more Moons than you need in an area, so it gives you incentive to actually explore and poke around rather than following a linear path to get a particular moon

The only thing that's really irritating me so far is there are a few too many instadeath places for my liking

Why bother giving you a life meter if one little dip in the poison kills you?

Granted it only makes you lose 10 coins, but still
