Well, I just had a weird moment of inspiration with that homebrew Pokémon setting: Not only do I have the name for at least one of the fire starters evolutions (probably the first), but I have a damn good idea for it's Signature Attack as well as for a cow pokemon that either becomes a vaquero...or Don Quixote.

So, the Fire starter idea I had was for a coyote that would, by it's final form, would become Fire/Fairy. The name I came up with?

Pyrascal

That could be a pretty cool combo

And a nicely fitting name!

So, anyway, the attack is called Tricksters Gift. The "attack" takes the item the opponent is using and does damage depending on what said item is.

Man-made items like, say, Scope Lens, do minimal damage (40 power) and types the attack as Normal. Non- man made items do more damage and is typed depending on the item.

A Dragon Scale makes it, naturally, Dragon Type.

Also, it would do more damage. 60 power instead of 40. Status healing berries would do 80 damage and inflict the status.

But where it would get Evil As Hell is when it gets to the "Protect from Specific Type Moves" berries.

100 damage power of the Type the berry protects from.

Basically: "That's a nice Item you have there. It would be a Shame if it... didn't work the way you wanted it to."

Also, the Fire starters Hidden Ability is Prankster, natch.
