So my birthday's on October 13th, a Friday this year. Friday the 13th during the month of Halloween. I love this shit. But my family's starting to demand a list which means it's time to brainstorm and also put together the internet list

internet list is for friends who want to do something or get me something that ranges from free shit (like fanart/fic and whatnot) to...reasonably cheap stuff. It's mostly like, steam and amazon and bandcamp wishlists

i usually list also a list of things i like in general if people want to surprise me, like "things i like include blondes, swords, lesbians, food/cooking, gatorade, your mom"

and the usual warning not to gift me alcohol or it will be regifted

bandannas are a cheap and easy gift. i have so many bandannas. i love every kind of pattern and design and shit. i have a dragon wrestling a tiger, i have camo ones of all kinds, i have one with the bushido virtue kanji on it, i have one with the kanji for senshi all over it, i have your basic paisley, and i have, uh, the imperial rising sun

that last one i try to wear only at home

i honestly couldn't tell you where that one came from even if i wanted to, it just showed up one day somehow by magic in my drawer when i was about 16, i think it may have been transmom's and it got stuffed in with my laundry by accident

but bandannas are like, what, a couple bucks a pop? i could always use more of those

i'll think of other small utility things like that

i like gaming dice of all sorts. i have a pretty weird collection of them. they rule

from my family, i got EO5 on pre-order, PBS is coming out next tuesday which is so late in delay it may as well count, a tattoo of a mitsudomoe on the top of my right arm, a california-legal knife to start carrying on me, and hot sauce. i always ask for some kind of fucking crazy hot sauce

if you know a good fucking crazy hot sauce, let me know. ive got a few suggestions already. by fucking crazy i mean past habanero level. habanero level is okay but i can get it at the store behind me, straight from mexico for cheap so. but if you know a REALLY GOOD one i'll accept that level of heat at bare minimum

i also like them to generally taste like something besides pain? it's fun to see who can tolerate the most of it but i like to actually taste it and use it in cooking, so things like fresh fruit and garlic and roasted stuff goes a long way

tho this reminds me of the time i was at a friend's house a year or two ago and i had with me my bottle of scorpion/ghost pepper/carolina reaper sauce just so they had solid fucking proof i do love this shit and somehow tolerate it

dude next to me was all "it can't be THAT bad" and smeared a whole layer on his sandwich

at least we thought the results were funny
